KwaZulu-Natal Experimental College is an international boarding school that trains volunteers to work with community development in Southern Africa. (known as Development Instructors). Our objectives are: To implement a modern and active form of education. As a direct response to improve access to quality preschool education in the country, Humana People to People in South Africa has developed a preschool teacher training curriculum and activities which will commence at the KwaZulu-Natal Experimental College (KNEC) during the 2014 academic year. KNEC trains Development Instructors [our name for a volunteer] to work with development projects in co-operation with Humana People to People. The projects are mainly within the field of education, community development and the fight against HIV/AIDS.
